There are 3 ways to check PHP version that your website is using –
1. The simplest way to check PHP version of a WordPress-based website is to just install a WordPress plugin developed for this purpose. You can install WordPress phpinfo() plugin, which is available free of cost from WordPress. Install and activate this plugin. Under the ‘Settings’ in the dashboard, just click WordPress phpinfo() and a lot of information including PHP version will be displayed. If you don’t want to use the above plugin, you can use another free plugin named WP-ServerInfo plugin. (Update – WordPress phpinfo() plugin has been abandoned by WordPress and is not available for download on WordPress plugins repository, as of 14 December 2018. Reason cited by WordPress: guideline violation.)
2. Another way to check PHP version is to upload a file containing the PHP function called phpinfo() to the root directory of your site. Visit https://codex.wordpress.org/Finding_Server_Info to learn about this option.
3. You can also check the version of PHP run by the server hosting your website through the control panel. Control panel may list PHP version under software or programming languages or it may be at some other place. If your web hosting service provider allows, you can also change or upgrade / update the PHP version as per your requirement. - 06/11/2016 at 8:28 pm #4376Dr. Aditya SardanaKeymaster

Raynaud’s or Raynaud’s disease is a rare disorder in which there are brief episodes of reduced supply of blood to certain areas of the body due to the narrowing of the arteries supplying those areas (vasospasm). In Raynaud’s disease, fingers and toes are usually affected; toes being affected in approximately forty percent of the cases. In some people, this disease also affects nose, lips, nipples, ears, and tongue. Raynaud’s disease is also known as Raynaud’s syndrome or Raynaud’s phenomenon. Raynaud’s disease was first described in 1862 by a French doctor – Auguste Gabriel Maurice Raynaud.
Symptoms of Raynaud’s Disease
Cold or stress can trigger a Raynaud’s attack. During a Raynaud’s attack, blood vessels get narrowed and blood flow to the affected parts get reduced. Due to this, affected fingers or toes may become cold and numb, turn white and then blue in color. As the flow of blood returns, the color may change to red along with throbbing, tingling, or burning in the affected parts.
Types of Raynaud’s DiseaseThere are 2 types of Raynaud’s disease –
Primary Raynaud’s Disease – The cause of this type is unknown. It is more common than secondary Raynaud’s but lesser in severity.
Secondary Raynaud’s Disease – This type occurs due to some underlying cause. - 07/12/2015 at 6:02 pm #4279Dr. Aditya SardanaKeymaster
The homeopathic remedy – Ceanothus Americanus – is obtained from the shrub Ceanothus americanus belonging to the Buckthorn Family (Rhamnaceae). This plant is also known as New Jersey tea or Red-root.
In Homeopathy, Ceanothus Americanus (Cean.) is employed in the treatment of diseases of the spleen as it has special affinity for spleen. Main clinical indications for Ceanothus Americanus as a homeopathic remedy include the enlargement of spleen (splenomegaly), inflammation of spleen (splenitis), pain in the left hypochondrium due to diseased spleen, intermittent fever, diarrhea, leucorrhea, menses too early and profuse, shivering with chilliness down the back, etc.

The medical term “tocophobia” or “tokophobia” is derived from Greek “tokos” (birth, chidbirth, parturition, labor) + “phobos” (fear). Tocophobia is defined as an irrational or abnormal fear of childbirth. Tocophobia or Tokophobia is also known as parturiphobia or maieusiophobia or maieuticophobia (Greek “maieutikós” – pertaining to midwifery or obstetrics + “phobos” – fear).
Classification of Tocophobia / TokophobiaFollowing 3 types of tocophobia are recognized:
Primary Tocophobia (Primary Tokophobia) – It is defined as a morbid fear of childbirth in a woman that starts before getting pregnant for the first time. The fear of childbirth may begin in adolescence or early adulthood. Such a woman avoids pregnancy to prevent parturition (labor or childbirth).
Secondary Tocophobia (Secondary Tokophobia) – It is defined as a pathological fear of childbirth that starts after a distressing obstetric event in the previous pregnancy, which most commonly is a difficult or traumatic delivery. But, tocophobia may even emerge after an obstetrically normal delivery, stillbirth (birth of a child that died before or during delivery), miscarriage, or termination of pregnancy.
Tocophobia / Tokophobia Associated with Prenatal Depression – In some women, tocophobia may occur as a symptom of depression in the antenatal period (prenatal period).

The medical term ‘Cachexia’ is derived from the Greek word ‘Kakhexia’ – kakos (bad) + hexis (state, condition). Cachexia is defined as a state of general ill health characterized by malnutrition, muscle wasting, weight loss, weakness and emaciation, usually occurring in association with a debilitating chronic disease or severe disease such as tuberculosis (TB), cancer, acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS), etc.
Cachexia is also known as Cachexy. A cachexic or cachectic condition is the state of health characterized by cachexia.

Eupatorium Perfoliatum (Eup-per., Eupat. perfol), a homeopathic remedy, is obtained from the plant known as “Thoroughwort” (Eupatorium perfoliatum) belonging to the family Asteraceae. Eupatorium Perfoliatum is used in homeopathy in the treatment of intermittent and remittent fevers. It affects respiratory system and gastro-hepatic organs. Eupatorium Perfoliatum relieves bone and joint pains such as those associated with dengue fever, malarial fever, influenza, etc. For this reason, it is also known as the “Common Boneset” or “Boneset”. Eupatorium is useful in cachexia from inebriety (drunkenness / intoxication), or from old chronic, bilious intermittent fever.
Clinical uses of Eupatorium Perfoliatum as a homeopathic remedy include the following symptoms and diseases, viz. – Bone-breaking pains, Rheumatism, Syphilitic Pains, Pain in Back, Fractures, Gout, General soreness, Bruised feeling all over the body surface, Pain and soreness of muscles, Aching in the limbs, Soreness of wrists as if broken or dislocated, Intermittent fever, Influenza, Dengue fever (also known as bonebreak fever), Malaria, Relapsing fever, Remittent fever, Measles, Soreness of liver, Jaundice, Bilious Fever, Nausea, Vomiting from drinking or taking any nourishment, Vomiting of bile, Cough, Hoarseness, Soreness of trachea and bronchi, Soreness of chest, Pain and soreness in eyeballs, Ophthalmia (inflammation of conjunctiva or deeper parts of the eye), Coryza, Sneezing, Violent headache, Occipital headache, Soreness of head, Diarrhea, Indigestion, Hiccup (Hiccough / Singultus), Cracks in the corners of mouth, and Presence of thirst for a long time before the chill and continuing during the chill and heat phases of fever.

The IUCN Red List of Threatened Species is a compendium of information on the species of plants, fungi and animals, which provides information on the taxonomy, conservation status, distribution, population, habitat and ecology, use and trade, threats, and conservation actions. The IUCN Red List of Threatened Species, also simply known as the IUCN Red List, is published by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).
The evaluation of the species included in the IUCN Red List is conducted using the stringent IUCN Red List Categories and Criteria. Following are the IUCN Red List Categories viz. – Extinct (EX), Extinct in the wild (EW), Critically endangered (CR), Endangered (EN), Vulnerable (VU), Near threatened (NT), Least concern (LC), Data deficient (DD), and Not evaluated (NE).
The following three categories, viz. – Critically endangered (CR), Endangered (EN), and Vulnerable (VU) are collectively described as the Threatened categories. A species listed in one or more of the threatened categories is considered as a threatened species.

Stereoisomerism is a type of isomerism that is exhibited by the compounds having the same structure but different spatial arrangements, that is, different configurations. Such isomers are known as stereoisomers. Configuration is defined as the spatial arrangement of atoms and groups in a molecule. There are two types of stereoisomerism, viz. – optical isomerism and geometrical isomerism (geometric isomerism or cis-trans isomerism).

Geometrical isomerism, also known as cis-trans isomerism, is a type of stereoisomerism exhibited by the compounds having the same structure but different configurations. Geometrical or geometric isomerism is shown by a wide variety of molecules that can exist in different stable configurations; the reason for this ability being the presence of a double bond (C=C, C=N, N=N), a cyclic structure (homocyclic, heterocyclic, fused ring systems), or restricted rotation about a single bond. Molecules showing geometrical isomerism are called geometrical isomers or cis-trans isomers. Geometrical isomers may or may not be optically active.
Examples of geometrical isomerism (cis-trans isomerism) include isomeric 2-butenes (cis-2-butene and trans-2-butene), maleic acid (cis-butenedioic acid) and fumaric acid (trans-butenedioic acid), cis-9-octadecenoic acid (oleic acid) and trans-9-octadecenoic acid (elaidic acid), etc.
The cis isomer (here, cis-2-butene) has similar (or identical) atoms or groups (here, methyl groups) on the same side, whereas the trans isomer (here, trans-2-butene) has similar (or identical) atoms or groups (here, methyl groups) on the opposite side.Related Posts

An inertial frame of reference is defined as a frame of reference in which Newton’s first law of motion is valid.
Examples of inertial frames of reference are as follows –- The earth is approximately an inertial frame of reference. It is not completely an inertial frame of reference because of the acceleration associated with its rotation on its own axis and its motion around the sun.
- Any frame of reference moving relative to an inertial frame of reference with constant velocity is also an inertial frame of reference.

The ability of the eye with normal vision to see best a small part of the object it is looking at, while seeing everything else worse is known as the Central Fixation. In abnormal conditions of the eyes, this ability of central fixation is lost.
When the eye possesses the ability of central fixation, the eye has perfect sight and is perfectly at rest without any strain. Dr. W. H. Bates (see, What is Bates method of improving vision?) advised techniques or methods to regain the ability of central fixation. According to Dr. Bates, practicing the technique of regaining central fixation for an adequate period of time increases visual acuity, corrects errors of refraction, and helps in the treatment of functional disturbances of eyes, abnormal organic conditions of eye, inflammatory conditions of eyes and eye infections. - 13/07/2015 at 6:04 pm #4058Dr. Aditya SardanaKeymaster
Blatta Orientalis is used in homeopathy in the treatment of asthma, bronchitis, and pulmonary tuberculosis (TB of the lungs / phthisis). Blatta Orientalis has been used with great success in cases characterized by dyspnea (difficult breathing or labored respiration) due to the accumulation of great quantity of mucus. Blatta Orientalis (Blatta-o., Blatt. orient., Blatta Ori.) is prepared from the trituration of the live Indian cockroaches (Blatta orientalis).
The Indian cockroach / oriental cockroach (Blatta orientalis) is an insect belonging to the family Blattidae under the order Blattodea of the class Insecta of the invertebrate phylum Arthropoda. As the oriental cockroach (Blatta orientalis) is found coming out of drains and damp places, it is also known as the “waterbug“. The oriental cockroach (oriental roach or shade roach) is also sometimes called as the “black beetle” because of its smooth, shiny, blackish body. The oriental cockroach emits a strong and distinct unpleasant odor (roachy odor).
