Effectiveness of SSRIs in Treating Depression
I want to know whether SSRIs are Effective for Depression or not? Tell me about the effectiveness of SSRIs in treating depression.

SSRIs form the mainstay therapy for Depression. SSRIs or the Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors treat depressive symptoms by increasing the amount of serotonin in the synapse (see What is Synapse?).
